This annual award is provided to assist Saskatchewan students registered in an accredited or recognized bachelor or master of landscape architecture program anywhere in the world. The SALA Executive is pleased to announce the award of two Student Academic awards for the 2009/2010 academic year. As there were no applicants last year we provided the SALA Awards Committee the option recommending two full awards if the candidates warranted it.
The two recipients are Vanessa Jukes who is in the Masters of Landscape Architecture program at the University of Manitoba, and William Hrycan who is in MLA program at the School of Landscape Architecture, Edinburgh College of Art.
The award amount for the 2010 - 2011 school year will be $1000.00 (one thousand) dollars. Follow the link for more information.
