Community Screening: Loving Spaces (April 2)

April 2, 7 PM SaskTel Theatre

Where: Remai Modern
Join us Thursday for a free Community Screening featuring the Saskatchewan premiere of The Golden Village, directed by Karen Cho. The Golden Village is a documentary exploring how communities create and fight for the spaces that define them.   The evening opens with Chairs for Lovers (1974), directed by Barrie Howells, followed by a conversation with filmmaker Karen Cho and panellists on third spaces, placemaking, and where community-building and culture intersect.   Presented in partnership with The Riversdale Chinatown Project and Homegrown YXE.   Special thanks to EYESTEELFILM and the National Film Board of Canada for assisting with these screenings.
